A windswept, rolling terrain overlooking Vineyard Sound is the site of this modest vacation "camp." Compressed passageways between simple volumes frame exquisite vistas of the water beyond. The floor plan terraces with the site and offers discrete spatial moments within the larger gestures, through the manipulation of the massing, terracing and texture of the ground plane. Windows are strategically placed to create dynamic visual connections between the interiors and the site. A roof platform above the central offers panoramic views of Aquinnah Light, the sound and Woods Hole.
