There are views of the Vineyard Sound through the woods of to the north; to the south the site slopes up to a stone wall with views beyond into a large tract of conservation land. The house has a guest bedroom and master bedroom wings linked by an open great room, which combines living, dining and kitchen areas in a light, airy space that is tempered by warm woods. Large, sliding doors and windows allow the house to become completely open to the site, and permit occupants to connect to the wooded landscape and ocean beyond. Terraces and a roof deck further heighten the experience of the outdoors.
